Call Accounting Mate Q&A / No daily report available?

Hello,
I am trying out Call Accounting to replace a outdated software from another company. So far it has been great, the web interface is a huge plus. I have 2 days left on my trial and everything was working great until today. I can not generate a report based on a date. Example: User Report: Detailed Report :Easy: 02/01/09 - 02/02/09 all calls. I get a blank PDF.
Peports with no date selected work great. (Gives me 50 page PDF's though... ha). However we mainly want just daily summaries based on department or extension.
How can I fix this before the owner makes me go back to the horrible other software???
