Hi, I am having trouble setting up the trial version because I cannot receive a sample amount of calls in the Views/Live/Raw to be able to generate a suitable log to send in for a driver for our system (HiCom 150 Office Pro).
I have taken the USB/Serial connection from one PC and put into another PC with this trial version on - to keep it from clashing with existing call logging software.
I have tried all COM ports - installed drivers for all - tested the ports with Hyperterminal - I am getting connected but no data showing.
I am now not sure how to proceed with testing this software and may need to abandon, which is a shame because I really like the look of it and it does exactly what we need but we are running out of time to make a decision.
I feel as though I am very close to setting this up - it just won't read properly from the serial port from the telephone system - I know this works because it works on the other PC with other software - so it is either my configuration/port selection or wrong driver - does anyone have any more advice or help before I leave it?
I have emailed 2 x and got similar responses i.e. check the raw data, create the log and send - I can't get this far - I have gone through all obvious Port settings and still not reading the telephone system? Please help!

Ok found a vague reference in the installation manual. In this particular field you must press the backspace key and delete the previous information before you can enter any new information.

Call Accounting Mate Q&A / Cannot modify the start time in the Task Scheduler

For some reason when i click the ... button next to the schedule in Task Scheduler i can't modify the start time. All my other reports are running in the middle of the night, and I need these newly added reports to run at the same time.  How do I modify this field?

You will likely require an update to the Call Accounting Mate driver you are using to strip off the extra characters when processing your call records.  Please contact our support team regarding your issues at support@callaccounting.ws.  If suitable for emailing, you should provide them with a zipped copy of your smdrlog.txt and billlog.txt files.  Both files will be located in your CAM's C:\bill folder.

My phone system puts a # sign before all inbound caller ID, and uses a # for the escape code to dial out.

How can I strip this from my logs so only the 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx is shown, instead of #1-xxx-xxx-xxxx?

It is possible to upload an external file into Call Accounting Mate.  However, the software is typically expecting Call Detail Records (CDR) from your phone system.  Please contact our support team at support@callaccounting.ws for additional information and options for the data you have collected.

I have log files originally sent to a RADIUS server that I would like to import into Mate.  Should this be possible?  I see the raw data after it has imported but it isn't usable for views or reports.
